³ Then Jesus answered them, and said, ^(A)Have ye not read this, that David did when he himself was an hungered, and they which were with him,

⁴ How he went into the house of God, and took, and ate the showbread, and gave also to them which were with him, which was not lawful to eat, but for the ^(B)Priests only?

⁵ And he said unto them, The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath day.
